Huh? I thought the form if asking for our address in JP, which for tourist should be the hotel, no? Lemme check again

I feel the web could have made it clearer such that we cannot register people older than a certain age as others traveling with us.

I dono what the filled, but i heard a little of the conversation regarding airbnb etc. I filled the physically address and had no issue on the same immigration officer.

I did Japan web without face registration. Went through immigration fine.

The face registration is for tax refund.
If not planning to get it, then don't need to register.
They will still take a pic of your face at immigration for immigration purposes tho.

u can either pre-fill japan web & show QR or fill immigration paper on arrival

not exactly the same, SG allow e-gate for some countries by reading passport

JP just replace paper immigration with QR for faster processing. those who can't use mobile can continue with existing immigration paper.

yes. if u prefer manual method i.e fill forms then not needed.
