LATEST NEWS: - The Jakarta airport rail link has finally opened after years of waiting. The rail link connects the main international airport to the city over 30 km away. This saves a lot of travelling time avoiding the notorious traffic congestion in Jakarta.
This new service takes less than an hour from the airport to the city and at a fare of 70,000 rupiah about $7 Sing. With this transport convenience will there be more SG travelling to Indonesia?

Certainly worthwhile even for groups of 4 which would usually go for taxis. No need to deal with lousy roads, the notorious traffic jams and dodgy taxi operators.

i remember the fare for a ride on the damri bus was around 20k. hope they keep the bus service.
