Visiting 三峡老街

Planning to visit this place for the first time, checked out the Taipei MRT network map and realised the Blue Line had a new terminal station called 顶埔.

Googled info to 三峡老街 via MRT and all results returned as ways to go there from Yongning station.

Anyone knows about this new MRT station whether can go 三峡老街 since it's one station nearer?

Yes, last week just went to 三峡老街 and took bus back to Yongning MRT

Planning to go there with my elderly parents next weekend . From MRT Yongning Station (永寧), Blue Line 5, take bus number 705, 706, should i alight at Jiaoxi Li (礁溪里) or 三峡老街 stop ?
long walk to the 老街 row of shop ?

Please do not miss out the croissant at sanxia.金三峽牛角麵包
Very famous.
But the ice-cream overrated, just a hardened crust of criossant put the ice cream in the hollow.
Bo ho jiak.

I looking forward to try out the 東道飲食亭:古早味排骨飯 and 大同橋甕仔雞 there, always seen in Taiwan Food Variety Shows.
