Guys, I know it has been said before, but I need one final reassurance before i cave in: china rom is fine with local banks/google wallet payment right ?

My usage very simple: no gaming, whatsapp/telegram/instagram. Only bluetooth earphones, no smart watch. But I need a damn good camera, hence me wanting X200pro

Xiaomi 15 ultra dethroned x200pro as the latest and greatest camera smart phone.

Best to get a local phone if you're using the phone as a device for monetary transaction imo.

If u gonna use as an actual daily phone with banking etc, and dun want random issues popping up esp notification issues and banking and Google wallet problems, be it now or in the future coz nobody can predict what may happen, best to get a global rom phone. It does not need to be a local warrenty set, but it should be a global rom set with Google play store inbuilt, for x200 pro it should be a Malaysia/Hong Kong/Taiwan set.

Yes, CN sets are cheaper by abit, but unless u are gonna be ok with tackling issues when they appear, or when local banks suddenly do something that blacklists phones with CN roms.

I bought black from JB for the 1 + 1 warranty and 180 days screen protection. According to the lady, 1 year is international warranty. Its supposedly supported, even in the settings is enabled, but don't know why is not showing.

haha ok, seems i am e only one who bought the blue, from taiwan though. But the said international warrenty means SG also can repair? edit: i checked official vivo website, it dun include sg but my taiwan set can repair in malaysia

According to the lady yes as long as there is a service centre in that country then can service there. So I guess 2nd year need to go back JB but I doubt I'll need the 2nd year. If they can bring the X200 Ultra camera over to the X300 Pro, will sure upgrade

but x200ultra is only gonna be 2x lyt818 cam no 1 inch sensor cameras... even though 818 is actually a very good current gen modern camera

anyone having issues with tapping in/out at mrt or buses. In the last few weeks, when I tap there was no response. Sometimes have to change the gantry to tap. Or somethings it just doesn't work even if I turn off and on the phone screen again.

I'm using the X100 bought in China.

I live in 4 countries, including China and Singapore.

All the apps work everywhere!

Blocked apps will work with VPN in China.

I have DBS, OCBC, Amex, Citibank apps on the phone. And all work everywhere.

Since eons ago china roms have no issue with payments. Dunno why this question keep surfacing tho have been answered countless times in this and many other threads.

Coz their rule of thumb is- better say doesn't work because if they claim it works and it for some reason doesn't, then you have a reason to refund their goods.

Actually every now and then, global set will popup on Carousell if you don't mind a used set. After using the global set and OriginOS based X100 series, I don't find huge differences as some other users claim OriginOS have over FunTouch OS.
