The kit's case fugging tight.

Put it on and want to take it down feel like can break the damn thing after a few times in and out ....

Grip is comfy to hold but i hope down the road they will upgrade the software to allow raw with the tele.

I went to a nature park to try out ... Seems like beyond 600mm the picture not that usable. Maybe i dunno how to use it.

Still learning how to focus on the super macro ... Tried on some spiders like can't get it ...

I only remb about the cam setting a page back and the photos immediately looked better ..

Probably gonna go a few more rounds to familiar myself with it.

About 4 hrs usage in the park , battt left 40% on a full charge, purely on cam use cos i haven transfer my stuff and sim over.

Above is just a straight out of box and didnt bother to learn the phone function usage review.

Oh ya, intially the AI was making the birds look crayon ... Lol.

Try to use some other areas to micro focus first then shift to the spider

the case wise best try to ready spare, it will confirm crack

disable hdr, - 50 sharpening

then try again

Their 50mp is the best but need to be careful on focus spot

The kit case is good for everyday use ... Just that the glass will be damn exposed. I am still thinking of a practical solution.

I dun mind keeping it on forever, since no one is selling the case by itself ...

I got a nillkin case coming , might forgo it entirely...

Sharpening i drop to 10 only , will try again next weekend

The glass from shopee will work

But if you're worried, get the buffer 3m skin from Vietnam ... To layer up once, before the full glass protector for the lens

Then try to put the camera case system on


As for the case , I would rather use what you have but probably use some light tap internally

Or even get the full phone PVC flim to protect the edges on the event it does crack under pressure

Best not to use the case if you're like normal folks just gym and walking around with laptop : it will be a good chance for pressure crack

The blue and wanting to try the cam in global rom, coz technically x200 pro/ultra's lyt818 is the only new camera module in 2025 till now

But I think the Samsung HP9 telephoto sensor is invented by them and sold to other renown Chinese brand phone manufacturers one leh. Many criticizing Samsung for lagging behind in their flagship photography and focusing on profits only.

To be good in photo and videography need to have good hardware and software tuning. Either one alone cannot be the best one. You see google keep emphazing AI those sorta crap but keeping the same lenses and cui processor. Samsung produces good lenses for other manufacturers but not willing to invest the same lens in their flagships, probably wanna milk as much as possible then only implement the upgraded lenses in S30?

Both Samsung and Sony makes imaging sensors.

And interestingly both do not use their latest and greatest but only for ( Chinese ) handset makers.

Higher batt consumption, heating, bulkiness to camera modules, but I think more importantly profit margins !
