Vivocash from Income

Hi,
Anyone has Vivocash policy from income? Sum assured $100K, pay 5 year @ abt $19K each. After the 5th year, they will payout 2% of the sum assured as a guaranteed yearly cash benefit plus a non-guaranteed yearly cash bonus.

Can pass on the plan to next gen. Advisable to take this?

Seems not bad for regular income. I also considering this vs a unit trust 'income fund' to supplement

Sum assured usually is lower than total premium paid. Income agent said 19k x 5yr for 100k Sum assured?

i know that for 80k sum assured, 10yr premium, one need to pay $9424 x 10yr.

Thus, overall guaranteed return less be ard 1.5+-%

this is almost the same with many other insurers.

Might as well go for the upcoming 20 year SGS bonds, NZ16100X
Current indicative yield is ~2.90% for that

Have you considered USD annuity plan from AIA? Premium term 10 years with yield between 3.7% to 4.1% depending on age.
