I'm using vmware fusion to run win7 on my osx 10.10
When running win7 and connecting a usb mouse, how i do configure to let it scroll in the classic way? eg. scroll down to move down, scroll up to move up.
Then i'll lose the 'natural' scrolling on my osx.I don't think you can do that cause the 'mouse' hardware you see in Windows is a virtual hardware. To use classic scroll you have to configure it on your host.
To configure it on your host click on the Apple icon - system preferences - mouse - point/click and uncheck scroll direction natural.
Then i'll lose the 'natural' scrolling on my osx.
No way i can configure in the guest OS?
Natural scrolling is an OS X feature so to make it work on windows, you gotta tweak Windows a little.
some google searches brought me to: How to Get the Worst OS X Lion Feature in Windows (Reverse Scrolling)
However the scrolling is not as smooth and *natural* when i tested it.
Or you can create an AppleScript to quicken the process of toggling the Natural Scrolling within OS X.
found the following for you: osx - OS X Lion Inverted Scrolling Automation Shortcut - Super User
The script works in OS X Yosemite, just need to allow it to run in Privacy settings.
