My application for spf is currently unsuccessful and they rejected me within the span of 24 hours. Now I'm just going to go with the flow. Is there any way I can tweak my vocation posting during BMT? I'm now ippt silver and did all my hg,btp etc quite well. not planning to go to command school because I generally feel depressed whenever the commanders tekan us cause they got time or give unreasonable timing, it left a scar in me thinking that all these are just bad in general. Some are nice but for me not worth to get extra few hundred and become like them. I don't believe in physical punishment or screaming and shouting as a way of learning. If I were to fail my next few ippt at the expense of going for rt, would I still be in a combat vocation like infantry guards etc or just perform badly? Honestly I hate BMT life so much. It's just depressing to get shouted at in your face everyday.

Not sure if you are covered under the scheme where you can indicate your preference...

They are bad, doesn't mean you have to be bad like that. And is generally the case during training phase. Anyway if you are so easily depressed then maybe command school not for you also.

If you are damn cui, doesn't mean you will go non combat vocation. If that's the case, a lot of people will be flunking their BMt already.

No. IPPT is just but one test.

There are many non-combat appointment holders who have passed their IPPT, commanders included.

I just hate this phase in general. I enjoy all the high key and pt but not the stupid timing given. Whenever we go up bunk after any physical activity be it pt or soc or tekan. We we're told to do area cleaning even though we did it a few hours before. The only time we can catch our breath is after Stand by area after ro.by then it's like 930 to 945. Quite rushing coming from ptp batch. We don't generally hate the commanders but give us a break. Even prepping for route March item can become a 1 hour tekan session cause the time given to take out was in 2 or 3 min and some people slow. Not that I complaining but at least give us rest after 2 or 3 times of pt in the day. Everyone has been complaining about our company cause we have so many rec on ufd or status. Don't know if really keng but from the looks of it, not enough time rest, people get sick easily.

Its definitely out of the ordinary for the higher ups. All complaining what is wrong with your company? What did they do till like that? Why is everyone coughing like mad? Why is it every week someone fainting during senang diri position? Why so many admitted to hospital? I myself haven't experienced any of the following but those who did are the ones who are overworked to their limits and fall I'll after that

Co, sergeants and officer or oc from other company like keep asking us what company and then ask that question. Regulars we're even more baffled. Keep ask us to take care of ourselves even though got nothing to do with us.

Honestly just do your best. If you end up in command school, why not? Of course it's going to be tougher than your BMT but you'll get paid more and get to experience new things.

Whether you end up in combat vocation or not depends severely on your ability to perform combat related activities. Your IPPT and overall performance in BMT, comes 2nd.

Please don't get any wrong ideas about this and go break your leg or whatever. Just try your best or at the very least, find some comfort in your family to give you support. Your Coy sounds really rough but believe me, there are other coys that are way worse than yours where Superiors actually lay their hands on recruits.
