I'm not sure if many of you encounter this problem but my headphones doesn't have a volume control that works with the PC.

I was thinking of getting a unit that has a volume control that i can attach my headphones to. Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/DROK-Computer...UTF8&qid=1457060721&sr=8-6&keywords=pc+volume

A secondary issues will be that ultimately, I want my PC will be the control centre of the "man cave" and the following sound items will be connected to the PC:

1. Headphones
2. PC Speakers
3. TV Speakers

I was considering getting the Xonar U7 as well but I'm also concerned about the massive amount of wires on my table.

Are there any recommendations/suggestions for me to do this in a cheap (and neat) way?

if you do not want additional clutter, get a keyboard with volume control function.

Can also check out sharpkeys and keyboardlink. These allow you to remap the keyboard keys.
