Hey guys. I bought the T3 in the november exhibition. Sound quality is all perfect for me. Never regret. However, there is a volume fluctuation when using the speaker. The volume drops for a few seconds then goes back to the correct level. I am not sure if its my laptop or speaker. When using ipod, I dont/havent realised it. Thats why its hard to figure out.

Anyone with similar problems? How do I solve it? Thx.

I am also experiencing this problem.

But it's on a Logitech X-540 instead. :(

what u mean by fluctuation?
if its the auto gain effect, then similar for my case. some media player / soundcard in computers are like that. when the input is too high they "shut" it for a while then return to normal after being processed.

if it works fine with your ipod i guess the speakers aren't faulty.

p.s. it happens to my media player homecinema, but disappear after i install media player classic.

Haizz, my T3 failed on me yesterday. When i on my speaker, found that the sound was a bit weird, but i heck care it, till i listen to my mp3, then found it strange, because the voice fluctuate, sometimes soft, sometimes loud.

Tried it on my mp3 player, still the same.... Wat luck, i brought it last Christmas only.

lol i had the same problem too... but i figured out a stupid way to settle it... i just lowered the volume output on my computer to the min and turn the volume knob on the speakers to the max.... It works perfectly fine.. Won't have the stupid sudden volume drop problem just that u will always have to control the volume from ur com and when u forget and just plug in ur mp3 good luck to you.. Blast off at max volume.

I don really know its the speaker problem or the stupid wired remote problem since i got fed up with RMA-ing the stupid thing like after 4months... before the problem comes back. I don get that problem by tuning it to max volume though. No idea why.

What did you use to pay? Credit/Nets? Your bank should have the transaction records....

You can rma at the creative HQ at jurong east.

I faced the exact problem about 6 months after I bought it, went to RMA but they couldn't hear the fluctuation even after 4 days of testing. But nevertheless they gave me a new set.

Excellent aftersales support, a pity warranty is only 1 year.

Just a curious question to t3 owners , this subwoofer has 3 drivers right, so does it mean the front one is the master driver and the other 2 are pressure drivers that pump out the air from the two sides of the sub?

You can test the sub using this test and dont forget to crank up the bass

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC7WEQsiz08

Can someone test out the above and feel the flow of the air from the three grilles? I've just wanted to get some idea of the positioning of these speakers if I want to buy one set.

oh my goodness my desk started to shake when the test was mid way so i had to turn it off. about the flow of air from the grilles, well i didnt really felt anything from the two side grilles. most of the whomp came from the front. i will try it again in the day or something. its orgasmic..

i believe its the wired remote... have 2 creative 2.1 speakers and both got the same problem (xfree and Itrigue 3220)

the resistor inside maybe got dust, or connection not good

Hi all.

was also having the volume fluctuation problem with the T3 few mths... no choice...
bring the remote (volume knob) down to the svc centre..

went back few days later to get a new one..

so to all T3 owners out there... be aware that this problem do exists..
so when the time comes..just bring it down for exchange.. if no warranty..pay a little more..
rather than bearing with the fluctuations.:)
