Part 2 of the Saga....
Called the Vpost cso Team leader this morning, and she said that delivery queue is long and that it is fine that packages take up to 8 working days to deliver. Well mine was delivered today on the 9th working days from payment (20 dec to 4 jan). Finally, the package is here...
BUT when I opened the package, I realised an item is missing... OMG...That is when I discovered that my package only consist of 1 of the 2 items I bought. I made an assumption that the retailer packed the 2 items into 1 box/package. I rechecked the courier tracking provided and noticed that 2 items has been dispatched and received... which means VpostEurope has failed to record my 2nd item on their system and the item is lying in their UK warehouse somewhere. Now waiting for an response which will be on monday... Quite sick and tired of vpost's nonsense..

That's why they have their so called $20 promo to sucker new users into using their 3rd world crappy service.. I wouldn't touch "singxxx" services unless absolutely necessary with a 10 foot pole..

I don't think so they are fast, It took them 3 days to send me the claim form. Still no clarity on their refund process; when will they process, how will they refund, do they give check or pay through paypal?

They will refund you using check, and you can choose either USD or SGD. The first time they lost my item, they told me that they won't refund the GST per their terms and conditions. I told them to show me their terms and conditions but they couldn't so they LL have to refund me. If I remember correctly, I got back everything including the shipping and insurance.

i guess its based on your IC number. Since you need to fill in your name and IC during registration, therefore each person is entitled to create only one account.

not much considering how you can always use another freight forwarder like myamericanshipper or shipito

repackaging services would be very welcome (unlike comgateway) as being charged 1/2 kilo to send 1 letter is especially when it can easily have been slipped into the existing boxes in the shipment.

Actually, u should work with whoever u think can provide u the best of what u're looking for. What is it? Service? Speed? Price? All these are questions that need answering, and that u need to think about when evaluating who u want to work with.

There are very few website's that do not ship to forwarder address. For instance, Coach factory. It even blocked international credit card.

It would be your adv if you are situated in one of the very few states that are still tax free. Standing from a consumer view point, price should not vary too much from that provided by other forwarders. For me, an acceptable range will be 5-10% greater than the cheapest forwarder
