nothing wrong. CGW will take 1 to 2 business days to match (they don't match on weekends) the package to your account, for which the notification to you will be on the following APAC day. which means if you still don't get an email notification today, check with them.

the actual weight of the 3 audio cables is 0.8kg but shipping weight is 1.5kg ~!@#$%^

i.e. additional US$3 ...

anyway this purchase is cgw virgin test ... so far so good

but will expect my 17 lbs speakers set shipping weight to end up 25 lbs at least .. ard US$25 additional .... wow that will be S$160 just for shipping

anyone has any luck with requesting for repacking of shoes with CGW? Dont need the boxes, will it be possible to ask CGW to toss the boxes away, and pay for repacking instead?

Nope.

As a rule of thumb, original product boxes cannot be removed so as to safeguard their own interest against any possible dispute.

Actually I asked them to repack the Crocs shoes. they basically squeeze them in without the box and thus it became much smaller. saved like 6kg?

So am not sure about the rule of thumb u mentioned if it is really the case.

It's the volumetric weight concept, you can basically forget about actual weight when it comes to CGW/BDL shipping.

no, they will not wait for you to contact them, DHL will attempt to deliver at their own schedule if you don't intervene in time.

great service ... even before my stuff reach SG
it would be better if they allow us to select our preferred slot online

previously also tried to arrange with vpost but no entertain .....

You will get used to this, normal Amazon behaviour. And there's really little you can do, and they will not tell you the size of the packing box.

Vpost sucks.

13th May - Paid Vpost for 2 packages.
24th May - 1 item delivered
25th May - Called them in the evening to enquire why 1 item was left out since both showed status as "with delivery courier" on speedpost website. Cust rep assured me they will expedite delivery on 26th morning.
26th May - Waited entire day but nobody came.
28th May - Speedpost website show item status as "unsuccessful delivery" on 28th May at 8.54am due to "wrong sort/rept". Nobody came, no delivery advice. Called them to enquire why non-delivery on 26th. Cust rep told me "unsuccessful delivery" will call me back once system updated. Nobody called back.
29th May - No update on item status on speedpost website. Called again. Cust rep told me "unsuccessful delivery" will call me back once system updated. Nobody called back.
30th May - No update on item status on speedpost website. Called again. Cust rep told me "unsuccessful delivery" will call me back once system updated. Still waiting.

Never using vpost again.

I emailed the company Vanns that sells speakers on amazon trying to find out the est. volumetric weight

But they replied they dont ship to freight-forwarding company. How to work around?
