Had my LG 27 oled since day 1 and yet to notice any vrr flicker. Most of these flickering issues seem to be related to the fact there is no dedicated gsync modules and simply replying on nvidia gsync compatible certification. The problem with that is if fps drops very low you will notice vrr flickering from my experience. Not so much if you're well inside the vrr range.
That being said if you play competitive and your fps is consistently above the refresh rate of your monitor, disable gsync and off vsync. Your input latency will be noticeably improved. You can see my frame times are very low with this setup. Enabling gsync and vsync will increase my frame times noticeably.

The technical point is a tricky one as how do you maintain smooth high frame rate per se.yup the video mentions that the flickering is mainly due to large fps drops. If you can maintain a smooth high framerate, the issue is nonexistent.
