VSC Officer SPF.

Would like to know what the requirements are to join spf VSC Officer.
most importantly what im concerned is that it states people who are exempted are able to join aswell, since i just PES F'ed 2 years ago and would like to do something meaningful. But some page said that they only accept PES A/B people.

How is that response even hating ? Also with your Pes status you are already exempt from NS. So its pretty obvious what your odds are

The standard requirements are usually pes A/B, pass in ippt, minimum 5 "N" level credits and 16 hours of volunteering per month.

You also need to attend lessons at HTA and *** every monday, thursday and saturday evenings for 6 months.

You will also be required to pass shooting/PDT and law test after the 6 months of training.

Exemption only applies to current Regular uniformed officers in either SCDF, ICA, PRISONS or SAF. Which is also subject to approval.

If your pes F is due to a major mental or physical issue then I don't think you will be accepted through this scheme.

If not, then you can still try for VSC Community instead as they have less stringent requirements. But still highly doubt pes F can go in.

If you diedie want volunteer then I suggest you either try up pes or just join neighbourhood watch...

VSCC even accept senior citizens but obviously the physically ok ones.

Its quite hard to get exempted from ns. Unlike in the early days where flat feet get u exempted. So if TS is exempted, clearly physically or mentally he’s not ok. Just calling a spade a spade.

VSCC perform similar role as VSC except they do not carry firearms. They are trained in hand to hand combat & how to use t-baton. They are issued with comms set, handcuffs & t-batons. If need be, they are required to restrain & even arrest a suspect, possibly a physically violent one. Although VSCCs never go out alone & are always accompanied by uniform officers, but still, if one has some major physical problem that warrants PES F, then one is clearly not suited for VSCC let alone VSC.

At least it still being a police.

If application fail them go for citizen on patrol (COP)

no, U cannot join as SAF Volunteer corps, Pes F they wont take u. no military position will take u

yes physically im not ok. the hormone pills i take ruin my body. i kena osteoporosis at 17 :/
