Buying a car from the mall is always about the feel-good factors.... that's why in China and Thailand... they set up car showrooms in the malls..... Sinkapoor is too expensive until BYD set the trend to have 1 - 2 cars in the mall.

As for Audi, I agreed that the salesman is talking rubbish to trade in their cars... They wanted quick sales, as the rental space is too expensive for them....
