Not expert but think the mirror should put larger at the passageway coming in from the door can make it looks wider. That part is the narrow part. Put pi-pi-sai mirror like no effect.

Then the living room one cut in half at the bottom. Not sure what effect that can give. Like not as effective if want to make the room look larger, which is already larger compare to the passageway.
