I bought a 90 degree swing bracket at toa payoh central but it was for 32 inch. Bought bout 2 yrs back for 80+. Thinks its blk190A. A electronic shop. You can try there. Or alternatively ship from amazon. I'm thinking of shipping my speaker clamptype wall mount from amazon.

Hi guys, how can i know the feasibility of wall mounting to a false wall? Do I see the weight of the TV or the way the mounting is mounted? or the material of the false wall? We want to wall mount a 55"/60" LED Tv onto a false wall in our office...

Read around this thread and forum.
I have replied someone before that if your wall is properly constructed, even a 100 kg TV poses no issue.
Unless you did not plan for it.
Talk to your contractor.

how's the default bracket provided by LG (47"TV) ?

got easy access to side HDMI inputs ?

else, is it worth the $100 upgrade to the arm bracket ...
which i think is the swivel type bcos i was told can pull outwards also as well as tilt ?

what brand is it LG giving ?

lastly, is there a goodwill warranty period for labor against tv or wall mount dropping due to workmanship (and not user carelessness or ill treatment) ?

TIA

My LG Smart TV recently installed has just a 50mm gap between back of TV and wall. Very difficult to see what/where to plug in cables.
And some of the cables which come out of the back of the TV can't easily fit into that 50mm gap and in fact damage the paint on the wall. OK can't see the damage because hidden behind TV but really annoying it's such a small gap.

My friend's wall mounted tv damaged one of his cable disrupting his soundbar connection. He had to chanve his cable plus tilt down the tv abit to increase the space. Take note of this.

Think if ur cables is protruding...use L shape plugs/adapters.
Yes, using L-shaped plug is a good suggestion. Avoid adaptors as far as possible. Any additional joint introduces additional loss (insertion loss). When oxidation sets in at the connectors, the situation gets worse.

Hi

my mum's old samsung LA22A450C1 26inch has a flickering line across the bottom so we are planning on getting a new tv for her

Problem is its on a Sanus VM200 mount
http://www.sanus.com/pdf/manualEN/VM200ins_081705.pdf

and is mounted on a feature wall that is covered in wallpaper.

Would like to reuse the mount seeing as we are all ladies in the house so we are hopeless at the home diy.

Narrow down to Sony KDL-32W674A and Samsung UA32F5500AM 32 inch tv's. There are not many in the market that are 32 inch tv and smart tv and also have built in wifi you see

Which one am I better off getting so I can reuse the stand.

Courts has both tv models but they do not do installation for us.

Thanks for advise. I think I am capable of unscrewing the existing mounting bracket on the back of the existing Samsung LA22A450C1 tv but not confident of installing a new wall mount as I do not have a drill in the house.

@leonaheidern

How about paying someone to do it for you? I am sure the sellers can recommend.

Edit: Wait a minute. Just checked Sony website... free wall mounting promotion valid until 31 Oct.

er we intend to go to the shops at bukit merah opposite queensway shopping centre to buy and hope they can quote and recommend.

but the issue is the feature wall and I am not sure if those sellers or installers will be willing to install a new one on the wall cause its a wooden one.

i just took a photo of the tv on the sanus vm200 wall mount and with it off the mount as well

Just a doubt, I tot these brackets are universal?

I dunno about that but I read a review that another sony tv KDL32-W650 was not VESA compliant so a bit weary already. Maybe that's why they give you the stand that can function as a wall mount as well cause its custom or something

Worst case scenario ask for free wall mount and sell off ur current mounting. Didn't know bout this when I bought my mounting for my sharp 32 inch. Quite a risk considering I bought and drilled before fitting it on the tv.

I know you are helpful but there is no need to worry as Sony website stated the stand that can function as a wall mount bracket and free wall mounting promotion valid until 31 Oct.

can anyone confirm that sony w904a is compatible with VESA compliant wall mount?

i already purchased a north bayou full motion wall mount and is able to fit up to 400x600 VESA compliant TV.

Sony website already stated the stand that can function as a wall mount bracket and free wall mounting promotion valid until 31 Oct.

No worst case scenario, unless you don't believe what Sony says.

Most LCD TVs today can re-use the wall mount as they are vesa compliant; as long as the TV is within existing wall mounts specs. Suggest u call Sony Singapore for clarification. If confirmed ur wall mount is re-useable....I'm sure u and ur sisters can do the job :D. If no, then u will need to pay for someone to install......I'm sure courts or any other retailers will hve contractors tat can do it for u.
