Posted this on Apple Clinic and decided to post here as there may be more traffic.

I purchased an IPhone 5 from M1 on Sep 2012 and have bought+activated AppleCare before 1st year warranty ends. Im currently having issue that when I toggle the side switch to silent mode, the phone will vibrate 2 times(about 1 second) itself randomly as long it is in silent mode. Suspect the switch is having problem.

I have exchanged my IPhone 4 previously at either Paragon/313 Somerset few years back under 2nd year AppleCare warranty and as I am not sure if there are any changes, I gave a call to M1.

I called M1 to check which M1 branch should I go for warranty issue and the M1 CSO told me that M1 are no longer in charge of IPhone warranties, be it within the 1st year or 2nd year extended warranty(AppleCare). Was told to go to either A.Lab at Plaza Sing or QCD at Wheelock Place for servicing. Wonder is this the case for Singtel and Starhub customer

I would like to know if I were to bring my Iphone 5 down to A.Lab, will it be a 1 to 1 exchange or will it be return to me few days later after fixing? 1 bro suggest to bring down to QCD as they may have more available stock to exchange 1 to 1.

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Mods have moved my original thread from Apple clinic to here. Therefore can any mods help to delete this thread? The original thread will do. Thanks
