In the event if you don't have a receipt then Samsung Staff will check your phone software for the hardware manufacturing date .. some number they key on the dial pad which will reveal the information.

If it is local set phone then they will reference the manufacturing date for the warranty

However if it is an export set then good luck coz it doesn't matter as there is no warranty for the handset.

If you ever purchase a Samsung product before, you should be well aware that they will ask you to register the product online on their portal and upload your receipt.

I settled the warranty issue.
Showed them my recontract letter and they accepted it
