Water Cooling Kits

Hi,

if i wants to change my current stock cooler to water cooler..
which will be a better choice? H60 or ThermalTake Water 3.0 Performer?

Jus get a deepcool gammaxx 300/400 will do. No need till AIO cooling.

BTW, water cooling and AIO are different. What you mention is AIO nia. Water cooling is 1 step higher.

The H100i is an in-between system. It's no different from the H60 or TT one.

Sorry I meant AIO. I thought of getting a air cooler too but my fren recommend me to go for AIO..

The fan noise of the stock cooler is very loud when on load.

Wanted to get something more quiet.

I think high end air coolers like the noctua nh-d14 is quieter than the h100i. A coolermaster hyper 212 should do fine though.

How is a h100i the same as a h60??! Thats like saying the swiftech h220 or nzxt x60 are the same!

I beg to differ having owned both. Previously on h60 i was limited by temps so much so even on pushpull that i could only do 4.2ghz, with a h100i i can do 4.6 comfortably at mid 70s with the extra voltage headroom. Saying the h60 is the same as a h100i is saying a 120mm radiator is no different from a 240mm

That said i didnt notice his is not a K chip so he cant overclock so this might all be moot.
Im going for an EK setup at month's end though

Air cooling is quieter but even for the dh14 isnt as good as those better aio kits much less custom loop. Plus its huge and might block your ram

The noctua is absolutely huge. A beast cooler. Quietest of its breed. I think it really doesn't matter too much which cooler you choose, just choose the one that looks better. A non overclocked system has no real need for a good cooler.

Yea thats y looking at those cheaper AIO.

How does the Thermaltake one stand against something like CM 212? Both seems to be about the same price...

If you really wan aio, go for tt 3.0 performer, 2.0 performer, CM seidon 120M/120V, cheap range of zalman aio coolers, corsair h60. You dun need thick rads nor 240mm rads.

Jus go for the cheaper option. But, tt 3.0 performer shld b better in terms of quality. H60 had a few problems which i cant rmb. Read about that b4.

H60 uses coolit, square block whereas tt uses asetek, round block. Dun really matter though.. haha
