im using red acrylic tubes
Ok, word of caution before you proceed.
I'm using meyhems since day 1.
No you don't need to get their blitz cleaning solution if all your water cooling parts are new from box. It it more for cleaning radiators and reservoirs that have existing coolants that are running inside for a period of time. It is good to buy if you are using coolants such as aurora coolant, which has all those glitters look-a-like inside. Those type of coolant are usually the hardest to flush out, hence it is only good to use the blitz to wash.
On normal coolants such as premix or concentrate with distilled water, they can stain the tubes or reservoir, at times radiators. It is good to flush out the entire system with normal distilled water. Not necessary to wash it with blitz. Purely your choice.
Another thing you need to note, UV coolant need more care than usual, over time if your coolant turn more acidic or more alkaline, your UV reactivity is no longer there. Meaning to say, you can turn on UV led light, but your coolant won't react or shine. I gave up on meyhems white uv after a period of 2 months, the coolant losses its shine. I got to keep either drain a bit of coolant out from the loop and add in fresh coolant, to stay shiny. And a PH tester to check its acidity and alkaline. It has to be slightly acidic to stay reactive.
If you are new, and trying water cooling for the first time, my advice is, don't go for Uv coolant, unless you know what you are doing. Go for premixed coolant.
Shipping of coolants that are premixed can be expensive due to the 1l bottle weight. You can however buy the concentrates and mix distilled water yourself. This would be more economical than shipping a premixed coolant that is 1l. 250ml vs 1l. If you know or have measuring tools, best, go for extreme concentrate, which like I'm using 90ml, small yet damn concentrate. 90ml for 4l worth of distilled or deionized water mixed.
Oh and coolant from meyhems do not need biocides. Inside there is biocides added.
