Gigabyte nothing much.

Only the gpu blocks, the cpu blocks. No vrms heatsink.

Basically whatever they quote you, i realise you can do it yourself and include gst and shipping fees, for $500-$700 lesser WITH premium parts that you may wanna use.

Extreme Solutions have mostly EK waterblocks.

TBH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

is my first wc setup.

Dont think is that difficult to do one. Think as its an AIO setup and how it works.

Break it down in to parts you will realise you will need this few stuffs.

Tube, reservoir (for the coolant), waterblocks, pumps +pump top aka pump heads, radiators, and fittings (to connect the tubes from components to components)

Its actually very easy.

well Which do you think is better? Custom water loop or swiftech h220-x? In terms of cost and easiness?

but if i got 2k budget what parts you think i can get?

wah but i not confident in doing self watercooling loop leh i scared leak all those type of stuff

Very hard to leak unless your fittings oring gave way. Or your wc stuffs faulty.

No need scared. Is really lego.

Watch some videos and guides. And dont worry if it leaks.

Dont turn on or connect your entire pc when doing leak test only your psu and pump. If theres a leak, turn off everything and dry it up. And everything is back to normal.

Run for a full 24hours. Put kitchen towels around all the fittings. If it leaks, you will know.

Basically you will need:

A pump together with a pump top
Reservoir
Best go for 2 radiators of 240mm each for dual gpu and cpu. If the chassis has bigger space of cause you can go for a bigger radiators such as 360mm radiators.
Gpu waterblocks
Cpu waterblocks
Coolant
Fittings (straight, 45deg, 90deg angle)
Tubes (either acrylic tubes or flexible tubes)
Gpu link bridge for multi gpus.

Decide on what brands of waterblocks you wanna choose. Some really good stuffs such as heatkiller, aquacomputer, etc. Read more on them.

Pumps can try any brands of d5 pump. Together with pump top.

Fittings goes the last to plan how you want the tubes to go. Fittings usually the most expensive. And can go for brands like bitspower and monsoon.

Radiators can go for alphacool or aquacomputer radiators.

Coolant can try either from aquacomputer or if you want some color types can try meyhams pastel.

As for the tubings, primochill from ek.

And lastly reservoir can try go for ek or bitspower.

Multi gpu configs you can go for a simple gpu link bridge from bitspower a single acrylic tube.

Average simple ones can go up to $1.5k.

There are good stuffs outside sg. Sg mostly sells ek stuffs.

Sadly you cant really see all this stuffs accept via google search.

Swiftech H240X better lah...for the lazy and no time to research. Performance maybe lose 4-5degrees niah. If you Ivy Bridge/Haswell, you need to delid to enjoy lower temps in first place.

Custom only shine if you use X99 and/or add a GPU into loop.

Go Lazada, search for Swiftech H240X, and enter those promo discounts can end up less than $200.

$2K too exp for that small difference.

Wanted to do custom loop but its not as easy as building PC because of variation in parts, unless you buy those complete custom kit set with matching parts. Can order from EKWB or Aquatuning or XSPC website. :D

Alphacool NexXxoS Cool Answer 240 D5/ST – Set | Xtreme-PC
Value for money if you dont intend to do a GPU loop.

And its hard to give a rough estimation if one does not know the specifications of your case. Thats suppose if your case is even WC compatible

After fixing it up, doubt the perf will be better than H240X or Kelvin S36...these 2 use bigger rads. Perf likely around H220X niah

The big D5 pump only help if you want to expand to more rads and add GPU cooling. Custom is more for additional GPU cooling and more rads expansion and for extreme hobbyists.

TS btw in Fuwell got sell the Kelvin S36, built by custom looper Alphacool for Fractal, 360mm rad space you can consider aside from H240X. :D

Its not really that difficult to arrange and build a custom WC setup. It took me only 3 hours to finish the loop and mine looks pretty neat IMO for a beginner. It took me another 7 hours to make sure its leak free.
Its more of the cost that turn people off. My PC which is running a entry level alphacool CPU block, Aquacomputer GTX 780 block, 480 rad and 280 rad cost me somewhere around 600SGD. And i havent even added the additional cost of pumps, fittings and tubing.

edit: parts mention above most are 2nd hand

how would you compare a corsair h100i to a swiftech h240x for aio? Still deciding on custom wc as i intend to get a 760t case and upgrade a gpu to 970.

My opinion is just get an AIO from either. They are both good. CWC does really justify the price. Just looks pretty.
