Yes its definitely nice. But when theres a problem. Its very hard to remove. Or if theres a need to upgrade.

Else if you think you just gonna not bother it till the whole system is done for then fine.

EDIT: you will also need to burn more money on fittings also. Angle fittings. Those also not cheap. So long as you need to go hard tubes, you need to spend a lot on fittings. Even it may cost $14-22usd per piece, easily you will use 30+ fittings.

so if i were to use soft tubing then it would be at least half the price? but soft tubing look so saggy. and the tube will turn yellowish after sometime right?? cause i want to get the transparent one

If you go for soft tubbings, each straight fittings will cost $6-9usd at most. And angle fittings will cost the same. But you cut down on fittings used.

Yes you will safe a couple of hundred dollars.

Tubings wont turn yellowish if you use clear coolant. If lets say you decide to choose good color coolant then it will be lesser stains.

But do note that you will need to change coolant every year or 2.

Tube very hard to turn yellowish. Even acrylic may have coolant stains.

How does soft tubes look saggy? If ya soft tubes look saggy, you are probably not bothered with how the PC looks and just ignore all concepts of how to route tubing.
Take a look at my setup. This is my first setup I did in 2014 and its still running strong.

what i meant by saggy is just all those turns and soft bends . if you were to compare this to hard acrylic then hard acrylic will dominate soft tubing but its expensive.

Yellowing of clear soft tubing is not the same as staining. The yellowing occurs due to the temperature of the coolant.

Tubings will turn cloudy due to plasticizer in the tubings.

Give rigid tubing a try. You won't regret.

The reason for running 24hrs is to test will it leak?

Is just a guideline. 24hrs to run in and see if it leaks. During this run in, only your psu is powering the pump. No other components should be connected.

Well looks wise i agree definitely haha... But if you are looking to save a huge buck, i think soft tubing would be the way to go. Tubing and fittings are not so expensive. Plus the setup time for soft tubing is faster by ten-folds. Maintenance of the system is definitely easier compared to hardtubing.

Yeap. I think thats one of the points if its too hot it will turn yellowish. But i have yet to see it as most of the time my coolant never breeched dangerous level yet at the moment.

I dont think you will be able to get much swiftech parts in singapore. You probably have to go to PPC website and order them in.

Better check if swiftech can support non ref board.. Or u can look at bitspower as well. They also starting to do for non ref. Shld be better quality than EK since their fittings are top notch. Most ex but most lasting, as per OCN general consensus.

My watercooling fittings and tubes are all pneumatic fittings and tubings. No hand pain putting on or removing compression fittings.

If air isn't going to leak, water will not be even close.
