My watercooling fittings and tubes are all pneumatic fittings and tubings. No hand pain putting on or removing compression fittings.

If air isn't going to leak, water will not be even close.

And they are cheap too! I also ordered a big bag of assorted nickel plated ones... coming soon! :D

I was using my old stock around 15 yrs + in storage and it still has no leaks.

They are probably more expensive than your Chromed Barbs, but easy installations and no need to worry about leaks is what matters.

Just make sure u don't buy those cheap plastic ones, those are very easily damaged. The ones i used are nickel plated so i guess they are pretty too.

Based on your specs. H220X is more than enough. If you want add GPU than H240X. These 2 are really 90% custom cooler parts, just need to tweak some fittings for expansion.

But first thing before buy water cooler, is to consider delidding your CPU. After delid than consider buy high end cooler. If not no matter how expensive your custom cooler is, non-delid haswell will end up 75-85 degree load on P95 tests.

For fittings, there are two sources you could use.

1. Buying from EK webstore direct. Barbs are about SGD3.80 for the new models in black or nickel. Compressions are about SGD6 each Shipping you can max it out at EUR13.80 before it starts increasing exponentially. Once it does, you can make another order.

2. This is the unorthodox one. Taobao. Yes, you can buy fittings off it. There's a brand, Barrows, that shares the same OEM as Bitspower. Here's one of the many stores that has watercooling stuff: Ê×Ò³-·çÔÆMODË®ÀäÉ¢ÈÈMOD¸Äװһվʽ¹ºÎï´óÁ¿Åú·¢ÌùÖ½µÆ·çÉÈÖ§³ÖÅú·¢-ÌÔ±¦Íø
