I just bought a 2TB WD Green from PC Themes a week ago.

After installing, took a long time to do a full format and i started using. No issues in Windows.

However each time i boot up now, it gives me a error on bios screen stating "Sata 2 error, press F1 to continue"

i tried switching sata ports but still get the same error.

Anyone can advice?

I dun think he meant it as a joke haha. Since you've had the HDD for more than 2 weeks, you need to send it in for official warranty.

Get HD Tune 5.00 and run it to see what is the error. Full format on 2TB is painfully long, so normal.

Try to unplug and plug in the cable on the motherboard and harddisk again to try. If still same error, change the cable.
