Recently I bought 3pcs of WD Green 240Gb SSD. 1pc I clone it with Win8 for an old laptop. 1pc clone with WinXP for a old desktop & the 3rd one clone with Win7 for my main desktop. The first 2pcs ran for 3 weeks without problem. The last one with Win7 started to have BSOD 4 times in a week. When I reboot the system it asked for a disk check but no problem detected. Then I cloned the Win7 from the WD Green to a 3 year old Kingston 240Gb SSD & it ran for a week without any problem. So I suspect that the WD Green 240Gb SSD having problem. I have been using SSD since 2011 with Kingston, Sandisk, Transcend & Plextor & I cloned the OS from HDD to SSD without any problems all these years. I bought these WD SSD because they are very cheap but I wonder how reliable are these SSD.
