Indeed, just because you are born does not mean you must have the next generation.Ultimately in the end, a child does not exist until a person give birth to him. It is ultimately the person who gave birth to the child wants the event to occur for a myriad of reasons.
you cannot choose whether to be born or not but you can definitely choose whether you want to have the next generation. Being born doesn't automatically create an automatic obligation to continue the cycle.
One can always choose to be childfree then will not have such problem down the line if not will always be a VICIOUS CYCLE.
One can always choose to nip it in the bud and choose not to procreate.
Your grandparents gave birth to your parents and your parents gave birth to you. If earlier generations hadn't reproduced then there wouldn't be this problem at all.
in a way, the older generation created this problem that needs to be solved by younger generation unless there are robots in the future that can take care of old people.
