Weather warning for Phuket

Very bad weather to be continued till Sunday as forecasted. Tour boats are ordered to stop operating at this time too. Have some backup plans if traveling to Phuket now. Oh yah it applies to Krabi too.

i just came back from a week long holiday at phuket last week.

was raining almost everyday.

but still managed to go for island tour last thurs.

Sea was very rough on Mai Khao, Nai Yang and Naithon beaches. If you ever want to hear the sea roar, this time from Jun to Sep does it. So much waves crashing in, even the sea made foam which blew onto the beach.

This is low season, man. Most of the beaches are off-limits for swimming and water sports.

You'll need to go to a sheltered bay like Patong if you wanna do any kind of water activities!

I was at Phuket from 20 to 23 Jun 13. Weather was very good during the period of my stay though it is low season.

It is a matter of "heng" or "sway" for the weather during June. But the sky is quite cloudy...

I was there since 16th to 21st
Weather is Good. Cloudly in Patong
Phi Phi island cannot go at this period, Is Monsoon season
So scary during the journey, Lucky safety back to home..

Ohh didn't go Phi Phi..Took the John Gray Sea Canoe to Phang Nga Bay...Sea was suprisingly quite calm though Monsoon period...
