Hi experts can I ask if webull charges settlement fees for U.S stocks? Currently in Moomoo and the settlement fees are no joke quite high. I can't see anything about it on webull website.

Thinking of moving some of my funds to webull or ibkr instead of everything in moomoo hence the question.

Thanks!

Why is Webull forcing us to deposit/convert to USD for the welcome promo?

Moomoo rate is better as I have tested before change same time same amount. But the best is still IBKR but it enforce a minimum and a service fee so that one is for change big amount then worth it.

E.g I just change SGD 2 to USD in moomoo go through. I miscalculated the total USD I need for my weekly US stocks DCA.

Does it mean that we can subscribe in SGD, no losses on FX and no FX risk?
As long as the underlying instrument need non-SGD to buy you will be hit with FX. Only is directly upfront or indirectly. E.g I buy mutual fund that invest in USD stocks although I pay SGD underlying fund managers will do the conversion. So if I sell same. But to me as customer I only focus on I put in how much SGD I get back how much SGD to simplify my own calculations.

The website doesnt have much information. It doesnt even tell what are the underlying funds. If the SGD underlying fund is SGD hedged then it should be okay.

I have tried messaging help Centre whether funds need to be in usd . No response.
But reading T&C / FAQ, the usd equivalent could be for calculation of rewards purpose , underlying funds can be in sgd . It’s not clear so need confirmation. Otherwise not worth given FX flux

The underlying fund for SGD is the Fullerton cash SGD fund .

Chat function replied sgd will qualify for this promo too.

You mean for the new user promo, deposit 2k USD?

I see singsaver also has webull promo, but everything mention USD, no mention about SGD.

I’m existing user . Sorry Referring to existing user promo . Yes everything mentioned in usd, but that’s for reference to calculate the rewards equivalent only. Actual vestment can be in sgd as what they have confirmed to me.

New user may be able to stack . You’ll have to enquire …

Does it mean the rewards is based on the USD equivalent of SGD at reference rate and the rewards is given in USD?

Meaning 200k sgd.( this is not converted)

USD equivalent = 200ksgd×0.7297= 145940 USD
3%×145940usd = 4378.2usd.

Rewards given is 4378.2 USD.

What rate will be used to change this 4378.2usd to sgd ? The spot rate or reference rate
