So you only bought a total USD30 of shares?
Yes initially just to fulfill the requirements to get free AAPL shares. Later went on further to buy more stock ETF each trade USD 5 at 0 comm but can get addicted so watch your deposit total over the time.

Haha I see. At USD 5 per trade, u don't lose much on the exchange rate, if any if you just deposit like SGD 20 at a time.

I thought webull can use limit order for fractional shares. So still must use market order like Syfe for fractional shares...😐

Limit order for fractional shares haha then Webull Spore how to earn monies? They use PFOF underlying so only using market order they can benefit from the difference at backend.

Btw, I am ditching Syfe trade and switch over to Webull Spore already. Syfe 2 free trades per month is a joke when Webull Spore is unlimited free trades no fight. But Syfe minimum is USD 1 while Webull Spore is USD 5 per trade but to me USD 5 is acceptable

Yes, but Syfe exchange rates slightly better.
The difference is minor if you change USD 10 each time or maybe USD 100. You see after 2 free trades each trade comm is 1.49 + GST that is a lot compared to Webull Spore slightly inferior exchange rate. Also for fractional shares we tend to place many trades of USD 5 (for me at least) so the comm fees is a killer even for IBKR 35 cents per trade is no go for me.

Seems like IBKR better for safety and regulations though.

I am just sharing what Webull Spore offers. If readers feel not safe can don't join. If readers feel IBKR bigger harder to fail it is fine then be IBKR customer. This tread is to discuss on what features Webull Spore has. There are other threads dedicated to IBKR that cater to different investors broker preference.

For me when the overseas broker has a Spore local presence/office and MAS regulated I feel ok. In Msia the Msian investor use IBKR which is hosted overseas and they also dump huge MYR to invest so to them it is safe? Just to give some insights on the Msia investors when we talk about issue of safety and regulations.

IBKR LLC got SIPC insurance, which covers all account holders including those belonging to foreigners. Msia traders are covered by SIPC even if there's no ibkr office in malaysia or have malaysia central bank regulation approval.

Without their govt SC akin to our MAS backing and support good luck trying to recover the monies. Maybe can but a long process perhaps. That is why some Msia investor rather pay higher comm to their local Rakuten trade for e.g instead of using overseas hosted IBKR. In fact some Msia investor try open Spore bank account and fund IBKR via this route as they cannot fund via their own local banks since their govt don't really recognise IBKR

MAS is only for regulation. No affect on insurance one. Webull collapse, you go MAS also cannot get back anything if they decide run away and not honor their segregated account policy

I think as long as regulated by MAS, client funds an securities are held by custodians and segregated from brokers own account. In case of broker bankruptcy, client funds are not affected.

Usually every broker is ok until it collapse. Crypto are good examples. When things are gg wrong, **** hit the fence. Months ago, YouTubers are promoting fiercely on tiger and moo moo. Now all promoting fiercely asking ppl to use webull. They earn commission, those who sign up take the risk.
If you are comfortable with that, nothing wrong.
