Weird battery performance

Does anyone notice extremely short battery performance when moving from hot to cold environment or vice versa. Performance usually stabilise after few days.

Cold climate has impact on battery, depending on how cold, like -20degC (winter in Mongolia) many cameras cannot even power on.

If u go extremely cold places, bring more spare batteries along. E.g. iceland, bring 4 at least. 6 if u can afford

Then you'll also see the battery percentage decreasing quite fast when using in the cold... However, after you warm the same "depleted" battery with your body heat, you can use it again.
