weird problem on my 2yo 4790k build

It has been 2 years
The comp will hang occasionally upon cold start up
After reset everything will be fine.

No other problem so far

Is this a sign of something going wrong soon?

Maybe memory, try remove 8GB. If still hang, swap to isolate.

some time during game loading some time window detect error and will be force restart just after log into os

If checking RAM try memtest86 for checking memory. Try at least 10 loops first leave it there overnight look for errors.

That was 2 years ago....
Will try to view system log as muddle suggest
Most of the time hang during just log into windows

Might be motherboard. Had such problem in the past too. If you overclock, good to increase the voltage to keep it stabilized. If you do not overclock, can increase voltage by a bit to see if problem persist. actually, i find mobo less and less durable nowadays, always first to up lorry.

Reinstall fresh os
Run memtest86...no error
Resit ram
Still lag then hang after log in windows 10 or upon loading games

After reset will be fine. I am really loss now
Every time kena force reset

what psu are you on? might have degraded over time, worst case scenario, mobo

have you replaced the mobo battery?
