Thanks. Any idea if it is available in the book stores here?

Can probably try looking from Kinokuniya website. If want cheaper alternative can also try book depository but the time for delivery can be quite long easily at least 2-3 weeks sometimes even stretch to a month :(

Just completed reading book 4 of wheel of time. My least favorite out of the 4 books read.

Hope book 5 will be better. :s12:

Any good books you guys are reading now that are available online to purchase too? Lazy to head out to buy. Rather stay safe at home.

The middle series are notorious being a slog. I've been reading Path of Daggers for very long, and kept getting distracted by other reads :s22:

I read this book, the author was a NYT writer. However, the online review by the academic community was rather negative, as they felt the author's views were too controversial.

I have been reading this book by Peter Zeihan.

While I feel that his theories and historical analysis of how the prosperity and economic development of many countries and the world after WW2 to be very plausible and convincing, I am not so convinced on his forecasts of the future geopolitical situation of the world.

Absent Superpower was pretty much, in my personal opinion, a re-write of "Accidental Superpower", both by the same author Peter Zeihan. In my opinion, it was just more of the same, except that for the second book, some military analysis was a bit unrealistic and I wondered if being written as a non-fiction was just an alternative to writing 'just another' techno-thriller.

Disunited nations was the latest book by Peter Zeihan. While still keeping in line with his themes in his previous 2 books (coming global disorder, very rough relations among nations in the future), this book differs by going in-depth on the future outlook of several major nations.

3rd book

another book I can recommend is a thousand splendid suns by khaled hosseini.

my all-time favourite because of how real the story is and how I am emotionally drawn to it because of the splendid writing :)
