What constitute thread digging?

Now that create double topic threads get 3 points if having existing thread, but if the existing thread is sometime ago already, post there maybe Kenna points too for thread digging.

So how long ago is the benchmark for thread digging before should not post in an old thread anymore?

In general, from a procedural point of view, duplicate threads will simply be merged. No points will be issued.

Just got off an overnight flight. So I wasn’t typing things coherently. Please excuse me and let me look into the thread in question.

I refer to the thread that you have shared.

In the mentioned thread, it had been a year since it was last posted. If the contents of the post wasn’t constructive that would be constituted as “thread bumping”.

However if it’s constructive, then there is no reason for the warning to be enforced provided that the contents falls within reasonable grounds. The forum has a thread suggestions feature which provides prompts to users looking to create new threads.

To summarize:
- Any sort of bumps that does not contribute to the thread topic (e.g. +1 )
(Some benefit of doubt given for recently created threads with less traction)
