I see people posting threads with just female photos clad in bikini and no content, stays there for years.

I post a thread with real news (the link that is), gets infracted.

So a piece of joke soccer news linking to a real piece of news is nonsense, but photos of girls are not?

Real news? Really?

Your title was "[Breaking news] Arsenal signs Luis Suarez from Liverpool for £60.0m"

Yet the link you posted was UAE international Omar Abdulrahman offered Arsenal trial - ESPN FC.

You may have thought it was funny, but members did not. "Everything under the sun" does not necessarily mean you get to troll people.

It was still related to Arsenal, no? Still related to soccer, no? And Arsenal is trying to sign Suarez, no?

How is it totally different? Why can't the mods act like adults and see this as just a joke about Arsenal?

You guys think posting threads filled with scantily-clad ladies are less innocent?

The moderators will have to take action should there be more than one complaints about that thread. To be fair, I believe the other thread about the fake Fabregas news was also moderated.

So what is the rule here actually?

The whole thread is all around Arsenal, and I am just making a light hearted joke about Arsenal's signing policy.

The link goes to a legit website, and the news is about Arsenal.

According to my past record, since when I was posting troll threads? If you checked, I have always posted about soccer news.

Jeez, I am in awe at how the mods are not able to take a joke, but let threads bashing political figures stay =/

If I'm not wrong, the reason given was "Nuisance thread"? It means you were intentionally trying rile up members for an argument of sorts. As you say, you meant it as a joke but you also have to consider if your joke causes anyone any inconvenience.

You also shouldn't compare to other threads. If you find other threads offensive, report them.

All I can suggest to you is to refrain from making such posts or threads.

May I ask what sort of inconvenience?

I refer to your earlier post:
It was still related to Arsenal, no? Still related to soccer, no? And Arsenal is trying to sign Suarez, no?

How is it totally different? Why can't the mods act like adults and see this as just a joke about Arsenal?

You guys think posting threads filled with scantily-clad ladies are less innocent?

Is your above comment highlighted in bold a joke? If it is a joke, i find it causing "inconvenience". Else if it is not a joke, i read it as an insult. :)

You posted a thread with a misleading thread. Members come in to click on a link to find that it's not true. Inconvenience.

Those who may have thought that you posted a wrong link might have spent time to search if such news is true. Inconvenience.

Try taking this as a learning point, instead of trying to justify your actions.
