I'm currently in Higher Nitec Electrical Engineering, 2nd Year, i skipped Year 1 cause of GPA 3.4. but the problem is that i'm not interested in Electrical Engineering.

I was in Eectrical Technology for Lighting And Sound, it's like for those backstages crew, concert events that require lights and sound. Nitec Year 1, i got a GPA of 3.4, Year 2, 3.5.

i'm interested in Nursing but i couldnt take nursing in ITE because it requires science, and i didn't had it on Secondary. I know i need to take a related course in poly, but is there any way to go to a medical related courses ? I'm a girl and 19 this year.

There a long route, that is going back to Nitec, taking up Community care social service by talking to the head of department and try to get a GPA of 3.5 and apply Poly Nursing . Should i do that ?

Just try to apply for NP & NYP for Dip in Nursing.

Another way is to study Dip in Nursing from Parkway College of Nursing and Allied Health cause it allow you to become a Register Nurse. The disadvantage are:

1) Cannot apply for Local Uni cause this is not Poly Dip.

2) All industry apart from healthcare, you will not get Dip salary because this is a Pte Dip & not a Poly Dip.

3) You do not get tuition grant & etc because this is pte sch & not govt sch.

You can find the cost from the website. The course fee from Parkway College of Nursing and Allied Health & Polytechnic are about the same. Like I say with the tuition grants from Government, you can see the great different in net course fee from Polytechnic.

Try to appeal through MP to study Dip in Nursing since Singapore short of nurses in the industry.
