What do you think of the service provided by acer singapore service centre

For those who have send your acer laptop for servicing

Anyone ever send in your laptop for serving at acer service centre?

They usually told customer repair lead time is 1-2 weeks and will sms you upon repair when is ready for collection

You waited for a week and next call in to check the repair status, is can tell you parts hasn't arrived and cannot provide exact lead time

Till you told them say, could you request your manager to call back?

Next morning, instead of the manager call back, you received a sms and it say your laptop has been repair and can collect liao

Hmm how come so wierd, say parts hasn't arrived and within a day suddenly parts arrived and repair? :o

likely is do those can charge money one first... yours under warranty cannot charge you, so wait first...

Yup, hotline is manned by pinoy and pinay and they the one who told me parts hasn't arrived but will try to expedite for me

Counter staff mostly are sinkie and malaysian

Counter service staff is ok

Imo if they told customer 1-2 weeks, is must fufilled ma and not after a week and upon calling say parts hasn't arrived. worse still can't even provide lead time and call in, phone keep ringing but nobody pickup

Took ages to pickup the phone

Few yrs ago, I think counter was pinoy.. I saw a lot of pinoy..

my experience was pretty good, send in, then within a few days can collect liao. Screen issue. Under warranty.
But it's at least a good 5 years ago liao.
