Teaching Assistant and Assistant Teacher are 2 completely different things.

In childcare / preschool context, Teaching Assistant is starting out from the very bottom with zero experience and no relevant qualifications. This position do all the sai kang, and confirm do opening (at 6am) and closing (no fixed time, need to stay back until the last student is claimed by the parent) duties.

This is still needed if you want to pursue this particular career though, because 1 of the prerequisites is clocking the hours.
