Hi all, currently im using an entry level Asus HD7750 1gb ddr5 card.

Thinking of upgrading. Budget $250.

Anyone care to input what gpu is suitable for me? Cause i'm like looking at all the card i so confused and been thinking for a month.

Been using AMD cards for quite some time already. So far no problem, the only problem i had is the HDMI issues where by some time my receiver could not detect the sound signal coming out from my PC. Just like my laptop. Googling it found out that AMD has this known issue for quite some time already.

So not sure whether to get AMD or Nvidia.

Thanks

EDIT: To add on, i play games like Diablo 3, Civilization V, WOW. I'm currently playing in full hd.

Why 660ti? 760 cheaper and better, no?
I think 7870 has more OCing overhead, but don't take my word for it. Newbie here :D

Since you mentioned WoW, get the GTX650Ti Boost 2GB. The Palit version should be $259.

AMD has consistent optimization problems with WoW, so the HD7850 2GB, which I'd usually recommend at the same price range, is out.

Also, guys, you don't have to poison people to buy way-out-of-range cards :D

For the international warranty you will still have to send the product to Taiwan.

If still got the asus 20 usd rebate form den asus 660ti dc2 only cost 235 usd w free shipping
The asus 760 cost 259 cheapest w.o free shipping. Means probably another 20usd for shipping
Thatt means 235 vs 279

I dont think the extra 44 bux which is abt 57bux sgd justify the very negligible better performance of 760 leh
