Hi guys, I am following this guide here

I connected everything except the hard disk and GPU, and then connected the HDMI cable from PC to monitor, but the monitor screen (the monitor source is HDMI) is still blank.

All fans are working, the LEDs on the motherboard is also working, what should I be checking?

LATEST EDIT: Accessed the BIOS!! But mobo still indicates red light on BOOT_DEVICE_LED, should I just continue with installing windows and anyway to fix that?

May I ask is your mobo on the case or outside the case? If inside the case did you make sure that u have case mobo standoff in between?

Is there any loose connection on your mobo? Like PSU cables to mobo and your fans connector, GPU and ram slots is fitted correctly?

Added the GPU and Harddisk, ensured all pins are connected and firm, now my monitor doesnt display anything with HDMI nor display port :(

And BOOT_DEVICE_LED still red

problem is intel integrated graphics and hdmi.

Solution is not to use hdmi as primary monitor, ie use a VGA/dvi monitor first

Or just install graphics card and use hdmi

connect HDMI to your motherboard onboard HDMI port, go into BIOS and change Advanced\System (SA) Configuration\Graphics Configuration\Primary Display to PCIE or PEG (I think only 1 of these is available to you), and also set iGPU Multi-Monitor to disabled. restart and reconnect HDMI to your graphics card.

Connected my HDMI cable to the GPU and the BIOS worked!

But for some reason, the motherboard still has the BOOT_DEVICE_LED light still in red. Should I still continue with installing OS on it and is there anyway to fix that?
