If I not wrong, I think Kaplan or SAA GE offers ACCA programs. It's a type of accounting professional certification that will help u to get the job of accountant when u graduates. For most who work in the accounting industry would have known or heard about ACCA. It's quite highly recognised.

ACCA is good.. but now there is this new SQP program going on.. so it's quite complicated now as to how to be a certified acct in sg.

I am doing F1-F9.. and then go into SQP program.
F1- F3 .. there computer-based exam .. that you can just registered with the centre when you confidence to take the exam..

I think these 3 modules can self-study. There is a website opentuition.com where you can view the online lesson.

Please visit Global body for professional accountants | Accountancy | ACCA | ACCA Global. There are everything you need to know there.

Read every tab and links you can possibly find there before you ask another question.

But let me answer some basic questions:

ACCA is NOT a place nor institution. They are a global body which grants certification for people who are looking to be future accountant.

There are many private institutions that offers tuition for the ACCA program. Example are Kaplan and SAAGE.

ACCA segregates into Foundation and Professional level. Foundation covers every aspect of accounting while at professional level, it covers advanced levels in which you may have to make selections for which specific areas you will like to be in future (FR, Tax, Audit).

For more information, please read up ACCA website.

All the papers are available as off-line exam. Those you go a place , sit down and write on paper.. :)

however, now acca has F1-F3 available as computer base exam at the exam ctr all year round. I doing my exam in ftms.. because it's the cheapest.
ACCA Singapore | Preparatory Course for ACCA Exam @ FTMSGlobal

After you register with ACCA online, you can just walk in to ftmsglobal and signup for exams. NTUC , SAA also provide such exam. Not sure about kaplan.

For exemption, you need to check with ACCA. When you register with them, they will check your qualification. For my cases, i didnt ask for exemption because i had an irrevelant degree.. however, to my surprise, they give me exemption for F1.

i think you shld go down and speak to the consultants in the ctr. They will be able to answer your questions and probably advise on the course that is more suitable.
