The most clear double standards of such things is the way MSM treat virtual dating games. If guys play such games, they describe it in a very negative manner, incel nearly always being one of the descriptors. But when it comes to girls playing such games, the tone is very supportive, comparing it to mental health support and not a single use of the term femcel (female version of incel), even helping justify pushing the blame to men. Even though both play such games for similar reasons - being disillusioned with dating in real life due to constant rejection or not being able to get exactly what they want.
