What is 'insensitivity' …???

Moderator 'ottoke' issued me an infraction for insensitivity in this thread:-

I was being sensitive to a dead Malaysian mother (aged only 30 and who left behind 2 young children aged 3 and 2) whilst so many others were rooting for the dead Singaporean driver who also caused the death of his wife and young son.

Why is others being 'sensitive' and ignoring the innocent Malaysian woman who lost her life through no fault of hers???

I was trying to draw their attention to the fact that there is ANOTHER innocent party who rightfully deserves empathy.

Please look into this issue. There must be fair play here.

Perhaps you may wish to support your appeal with the quote that was infracted by Ottoke for full case to be presented?

I understand prior to this infraction, there's quite a fair bit of posts that were deleted for insensitive comments without dishing any warnings/infractions prior to this.

With full case presented, admin will be able to give a more informed reply.

Some comments are best kept to one's self and it is in my opinion that you were clearly trying to provoke some sort of response from your post, whose comments were uncalled for and insensitive to the deceased persons.

Pl raise the level of debate here. I was insensitive to some deceased people in this cyber virtual world???? Which deceased person did I speak up for who would be angry to honestly be able to hear me.....the dead Singaporean or Malaysian???

Every Nobel Prize for Literature is a PROVOCATION to think harder and deeper about social and political issues.

without the physical realities edmw is meaningless and wouldn't even exist

in this particular case sagu thinks our humanity demands respect for the dead victims and respect must be accorded to the deceased as they are physical realities discussed in a virtual edmw forum

sagu agrees that mod ottoke had made the correct decision to infract ts for his unnecessary post deem insensitive to the sad tragic accident and dead victims

So I was 'disrespectful' of NOT a person BUT a tragic situation.
So I was NOT 'insensitive' BUT 'disrespectful".
