What is Rooms app?

This morning suddenly there is Rooms app icon appear. I tried to uninstall but keep reappearing. Restarted the phone, delete the phone and again still come back again.
I didn't try to run it coz affraid it is a malware. The annoying thing is cannot be uninstalled.
The icon is as per attached image. Any idea?

Do you use Samsung VR? might be Oculus Home pushing that app

Yes i have ocolus samsung VR. So you have the same?
I can't test it since i don't have the VR device with me now.

when you uninstall the oculus app, the room app can be uninstalled.

This issue is resolved now, contacted Oculus and they push another update rectifying the problem. Now no more rooms icon.
