What is the difference between UOL external programme and Online Degree?

From my understanding, UOL can be self-studied as long as u pass examination rite? Is UOL same as online degree.

I was googling for business degree courses and I stumped upon this: [Business Undergraduate - Open Universities Australia

Australia online degree offered by some pretty decent uni: Monash, RMIT, Curtin. I always tout online degree is one u pay and get cert but after reading through, I think it is pretty decent. Online supported lectures etc.

For assessment, you have to hand in assignment online + pass exams (conducted at specific exam venue).

Actually I considering self-study UOL external programme, but I think this online degree also seems to be rather decent. anyone took it before?

monash has stopped accepting students for the OUA program.
the other universities aren't very well-ranked. you're better of doing the UOL international degree.
