I asked, which should the country be celebrating? Snake year? Or our 60,th year?

Singapore is an anomaly.
I think, it is by pure luck she had its way of independence, once as a colony and second time as federal state.

But now I feel I don’t really own anything, since pandemic now I don’t even care much, I am at this stage in life facing a crossroad junction, whether to follow everybody take the golden path repeat the cycle hopefully produce a scholar or choose the path of least resistance, end the lineage join monkhood.

Have you guys actually consider what your offspring can do, with technology growing exponentially replacing tradition jobs say for example, self driving taxi, an ultra competitive global job market, and benevolent MNCs relocating, all at increase pace.
