My SRS fund was deducted yesterday.

To summarise, applied on morning of 15 Oct, fund deducted on 22 Oct.

Just checked my email (both inbox and junk mail), there is no policy documents sent to me yet.

I received a copy of my policy via snail mail, so, an actual printed document and properly binded. Interestingly, I've checked my email, there is no soft-copy of the policy document sent to me.

Here is the summary:

Applied: 15 Oct
SRS Fund Deducted: 22 Oct
Physical policy doc received: 1 Nov
Policy Effective Date: 23 Oct
Policy Issue Date: 29 Oct

Thought this might helped others.

I have also recently bought NTUC Income Capital Plus using cash instead of SRS.

The whole process took only 2 days, applied today and the policy details will show up online once you log into their website. Very efficient.

sounds like ntuc income is a better choice if investment sum is not too high. the extra few dollars from hsbc like not very worth it :(

brexit is coming soon. i should have waited a few weeks and invest through ntuc instead. :(

20k in hsbc without any news :(
