What next for ACCA students?

dun have degree... only diploma and ACCA, what is next?

I always thought to Accounting Firms, having ACCA = having Accounting degree ?

but everywhere else only recognize the diploma.

A Bach Degree (Not recommending Master degree if you are going to by pass bach degree) or CPA Sg?

This is like End-game already lor. What else you want ? Masters / PhD ?

Even those Bach. in Acc students final destination is also CPA.

CPA is the highest level in the accountancy field already. You might consider expanding your field taking up Masters of Taxation (SIM-Singapore Tax Academy).

Personally I'm completing my degree in Accountancy (grad 2014) & will work towards CA (new version of CPA) and Masters of Taxation at the same after. My goal is to complete by them by (2017) and start my own firm by 2018.

I think starting up an accounting firm would be the way to go if you really want work-life balance haha
