Going to get a new car battery and thinking of installing new car cam with parking mode on 24hrs.

My driving pattern is usually 3 hours per day but every month, for 7 days car will be driven just 40mins per day.

Will 24 hour monitoring drain my battery? With power magic, how will it help?

I especially hope for 24 hours recording during the 7 days.

Power bank is the solution.

I need 24 hour recording, driving or parked (motion detect). 7 days in a stretch, not around, friend may borrow to run short errand only and friend totally not into gadgets so will not touch the dash cam.

Thank you for the tips.

Seems 3 days possible but not 1 week especially if no driving at all?

The battery saver will stop the camera when battery voltage drops below 13v.
Don't worry....even normal daily driving....most cars also cannot do 24hrs recording!

I see most cars the blue light is not blinking in the morning!
So best to scratch your neighbors car is in the dawn hours....like how army taught us dawn attack is the best time!
