We are not slamming him if he genuinely has a problem, we are slamming him for being inconsistent in his story and having too many loop holes in his stories. too CSB.

if TS genuinely has a problem, don't see why he has to be so defensive.

thats y i said he has a sgh specialist to certify his condition and not some private specialist. that's enough to prove that his condition is genuine. what more is there to speculate that it isn't? you can't say he keng his spinal problem, you can only say he likes to play mc. so i dont see the reason why you have to ask how he sleeps, etc

because its easy to ask doctors to write memo saying you have a specific condition or a general condition without any actual proof of it being severe to the point where you will die

if i tell my CGH doctor say my neck pain, everyday in army the commanders whack me, i pain until i cry, i take all the pain killers also no use, doctor how? later i OD on pain killers how?

doctor will say "ok no problem i say u got this condition, u go give ur MO then he read his "DOWNPES MEDICAL BOOK" and downpes u accordingly.. good luck ok? army 2 years only dont cry"

why do u think SAF got so many Pes E who can gym 4 times a week, deadlift 100+ kg, squat 100+ kg yet they can't hold SAR21? LOL come on la dont be so naive

I will go one step further than you. Doesn't matter whether is it SGH specialist or private specialist, both have ethics to follow. No doubt people may view private specialist as more lenient, as they charge more, but this is NOT my point.

I don't know him, he has also not shown proof that he truly has a problem, neither am I expecting any proof. So in the absence of that, I can only say that IF he genuinely has a problem, he doesn't need to be so defensive about being questioned over his apparent inconsistency in his story.

This is INDEPENDENT of whether he genuinely has a problem or not.

Your last example is actually flawed.

There is a difference between physical fitness and medical fitness. PES even though is "PHYSICAL Employment Status" is actually medical fitness.

It is actually possible for someone who has eye issue, say blinded in 1 eye or something who is PES E. but is still a body builder. so its very possible.

But you are right that, if you claim that you are in pain, the doctor as much as he would like to prove, he can never prove that you are in pain even if he cannot find any problem with you.

If he complained of prolonged physical pain for a number of years then what you say is believable. But he started complaining of back problems only for the last couple of months, it's very naive to think that the specialist will just recommend the mo to down PES him without hard evidence just because he keeps going back to the hospital to complain about his back for the last few months. If it's that easy, even more people would be below PES b

Maybe your best is just how far you can go. But not convincing enough.

So maybe I put this to you, if they let you bring your specialised bed to camp and stay in, will you?

This is a key test as to whether you are really doing your best.

It's just a layer, I would do it if it's necessary.

So if you have a choice

1) Travel everyday from your home to your current camp and back

2) Bring your customised bed and stay in

which will you choose?

Just want to clarify the facts, that's all.
But yea, I'm out of here since I don't need any advice further.

I'm going to have my next followup session with my specialist soon.
If the specialist says that continuing to travel for long distance will eventually worsen my condition, I will go with the 2nd option.

Also, will have to see how the relocation goes as well.

My life does not exist only within' this two years.
I'm not going to let this two years affect the rest of my remaining lifespan permanently.

After what will you do after the 2 years?
